Despite some of us feeling slightly “blah” and worse the wear from our hike up Baldwin’s Bluff on the hottest day we’ve had on this trip to Perth so far, we ventured out to Fremantle or “Freo” as the locals call it for a bit of a look around.

A good chance for me to do some driving around the Munster / Freemantle area too so we scouted out the best route to the Old Freemantle Prison in prep for a tourist stop there later in the week. That might have been because I took a wrong turn but that’s a story for another day – forgot to bring the Navman.

All very tiring of course so we popped in to a delightful café called “il Cibo” in Market St.

After which we obviously needed a bit of a walk. This of course provided the perfect opportunity for my companions to do a little shopping so while they continued looking in the varied clothing and knick knack shops, I admired the local Church and Post Office and tinkered with my camera settings. Started the day with the ISO turned way up way too loud…

That about did it for us though so we had to head back home for a relax and some rather nice Limoncello that we’d prepared earlier 🙂
